Action City
Founded in 2000, Action City is built on the passion for
wanting to re-introduce play in small but significant ways into our everyday
lives while holding on to the child-like belief that play is not frivolous. It
is serious -- but fun -- stuff!
Action City is the retail arm of Big Box International Pte Ltd, which focuses on the development and marketing of FUNIQUE (fun + unique) products. The company sources, designs, and distributes toys and gifts that add a touch of PLAY to daily life. Popular brands developed include Breadou® and Love Hug™.

Mother and Child Project
Mother and Child Project, a social enterprise run by the Singapore Anglican Community Services, is the first non-profit social enterprise of GET SINGAPORE. It was set up in 2005 by Anna Tsang, a US-trained fashion designer. She started to train women to sew and to make a range of products she designed. Many were single mothers or women recovering from psychiatric illnesses and their newly acquired skills became their main source of income.
MNCP provides home-based work sewing contract work for disadvantaged mothers so that they can become economically self-sufficient. It produces a wide range of products ranging from tissue pouches to patchwork quilts and hand-painted clothing. Designed by Anna and made by mostly single mothers, each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.
